Amy Morvell

Amy is currently Lîla’s performer intern touring in The Hotel Experience.

Amy is a currently self-employed dancer and choreographer based in the UK. She is currently the intern for Lîla Dance’s new work The Hotel Experience, which is touring in the UK. Amy is also working as a dancer for Ella&co in her work #NoFilter. This year she attended SHARE intensive in Paris which included dancers from the companies Jiri Kylian, Ohad Naharin, Crystal Pite, and Sharon Eyal. She has continued her training with Protein Dance, Jasmin Vardimon, Avante Garde, Ceyda Tanc, Luke Birch and Hofesh Shechter.  

She is currently on a Mind the Gap project

run by South East Dance and Hofesh Shechter Company.

Amy studied at the university of Chichester and graduated with a first-class honours degree in 2017. Here she danced for Ceyda Tanc Dance, Richard Chappell and Victoria Fox from Tribe company.  In her earlier years she trained on the CAT scheme at London Contemporary Dance School.
