So, coming close to the end of our last week at Chichester University I find myself wondering where has the time gone?! With characters maturing and growing with every minute to buckets flying, it is clear that this world we are creating is becoming so real for us we can almost touch it!

A big congratulations to Abi, Dougie and the company for this accomplishment.

Today started with another recap of the material we have all generated for the workshops that we are going to be teaching during our tour. We used the session to video all the material and get our bodies ready for the long day ahead of us!

Once warm we picked up where we left of yesterday with Dougie setting music cues for us throughout the piece. Although this can seem time consuming is incredibly beneficial to not just the work but how we string movement and narrative to energy levels. For example, this section wants to achieve this atmosphere with the music, this can be done with this amount of energy. They act like Checkpoints, almost like punctuation in a sentence to keep us in time.

With that finished we set up for another run of the piece. It feels like every time I expose myself to this land, I take another part of it with me when I leave, making my next exposure to it feel completely fresh and new for my character.
