Class with Lîla Dance - Level 1 contemporary technique

£5.00

Join Lîla Dance Artistic Director Carrie Whitaker for a fun and physical contemporary dance class that brings together the important movement ideas needed for developing a strong foundation in contemporary dance.

Who is the class for?

This class is great for dancers studying GCSE dance as well as for youth dancers interested in contemporary technique. If you teach dance in a school or community setting this class might help you with some new vocabulary or simply get you out of your own habits and help breakdown skills into different sequences for delivery!

Background

I (Carrie) have delivered contemporary workshops and classes to young people in schools, colleges, universities, community settings and advanced training schemes for over 20 years and have enjoyed bringing that knowledge and experience into this class to share with you.

In keeping with the Lîla ethos, the aim of this class is to balance challenge, creativity, and enjoyment, the three best ingredients for any dance class no matter what age you are or what level of experience you’ve had!
